The best piece of pie is the one without a mark.
My life has not been easy.
I matured fast, and learned early.
I climbed the mountain and came down already,
Being left with the wish of taking it slower.
I have walked to space and back in what I have learned,
And have risked it all way too early.
I grew up with the snap of my fingers.
Yet, I wish I had grown up with two snaps.
You see, my love,
Wisdom is over valued and innocence is forgotten.
So the best piece of pie is the one without a mark,
And innocence should be raised up high,
As that is how God sees you when you leave his home
And that is how he expects you when you return.
So remain untouched by others,
And you truthfully will be the best slice yet.
