A Surreal Perspective

When we are sitting down by the river
Please, look at yourself and please don’t shiver,
Since you look beautiful to me all day
And all our memories are on replay.

The day that you learn to love yourself, dear,
Is the day that you can see yourself, clear.
And upon this day, my beautiful love,
You can finally be like a morning dove-
a flawless, graceful eternity.

Your grace has outweighed your faults throughout time,
And sure, for your love, I would spend a dime,
For you to see your charming reflection
Is the same as your normal perfection.

As the hourglass fills up as time goes,

I expose my love for you with a rose.
